The Leading The Way Navigator is a solar-powered mp3 audio player containing Dr. Youssef's Biblical teaching. Utilizing our dual-language technology to target the regional language of local people groups, we are able to put 35 sermons on a single device. The Navigator will communicate the Gospel to the lost and will aid new believers as they navigate through the Word of God. The Navigator also allows us to provide teaching to believers and underground churches in areas hostile to the Gospel, in the privacy of their own homes.

A Visit to Albania Creates a New Ministry Tool

Leading The Way continues to consider how to use emerging technologies to reach more people with the Truth of Christ. Our most recent project is the Leading The Way Navigator, a unique solar-powered MP3 player that was birthed out of a recent trip Jonathan Youssef took to Albania.

On this trip, Jonathan met a woman who was disabled, had no automobile, and was unable to attend church. Her television did not work but she had a small solar-powered radio hanging on her clothes line. She charges the radio during the day and then brings the radio into her home to listen to her favorite radio programs at night. As Jonathan heard testimonies of lives changed in Albania through Leading The Way, he wondered how the same technology could be used to provide targeted, discipleship oriented programming to people who do not own a TV, radio, a local church, and do not have the benefit of electricity or access to batteries.

Upon returning home, Leading The Way's international team went to work researching how we could provide a solar-powered player filled with Dr. Youssef's dual-language teachings to people in remote regions around the world. Soon, the Leading The Way Navigator was born. Loaded with 35 dual-language messages taught by Michael Youssef, the Navigator can play for hours and allows Leading The Way to dive even deeper into remote areas of the world with the message of the hope found in Jesus Christ.
